Prices of tin, copper, lead, zinc and brass declined on the non-ferrous metal market here today due to lack of demand from industrial users coupled with lower advices from London Metal Exchange (LME).
While, nickel and aluminium utensils scrap moved up owing to good industrial buying support.
Tin dropped by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 710, copper utensils scrap by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 197, copper sheets cutting by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 205 and lead by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 86.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper wire bar moved down by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 213, Rs 211, Rs 209 and Rs 241 respectively.
Brass utensils scrap, brass sheets cutting and zinc also ended lower by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 167, Rs 169 and Rs 77 respectively.
However, nickel rose by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 670 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 660 and aluminium utensils scrap also edged up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 80.
