The Instanex Foreign Institutional Investors` (FII) Index was down 1.96% to 196.39 while the Domestic Institutional Investors` (DII) 15 Portfolio was down 1.55% (10 a.m., Tuesday).
Nifty has lost 1.56% and Sensex is lower by 1.89%.
Of the 15 components of the Index, 14 fell sharply.
The top losers are ICICI Bank (-4.12%; weight 7.08%), HDFC (down 3.21%; weight 11.82%), HDFC Bank (-2.77%; weight 5.30%) and SBI (-2.62%; weight 3.63%), whereas HUL (+0.32%; weight 4.36%) has managed to gain.
