Other dollar rates: 99.30 Japanese yen, up from 98.32 1.1811 Swiss francs, up from 1.1748 1.2939 Canadian dollars, up from 1.2880 The British pound was quoted at $1.4090, up from $1.4077.
Gold traded in London at $911.00 per troy ounce, down from $913.75 late Tuesday.
