LSE: European stock index futures point to lower start
European stock index futures pointed to a fall in equities on Thursday after a jump of 4 percent the previous session, with investors seen trading cautiously ahead of rate decisions in Britain and the euro zone.
At 0704 GMT, futures for the Eurostoxx 50, Germany's DAX and the French CAC 40 were down between 0.9 percent and 1.2 percent.
The FTSEurofirst 300 index of top European shares closed 4 percent higher at 696.23 points on Wednesday, ending a three-session losing streak which saw the benchmark sink to a 12-year closing low on Tuesday.
