MW: Oil futures fall 3%, tracking decline in stock futures
Oil futures fell 3% early Thursday, after their rally in the previous session, as U.S. stock futures pointed to a lower opening on Wall Street. Crude oil for April delivery fell $1.22, or 3%, to $44.17 a barrel in electronic trading on Globex. Traders are awaiting data on factory orders for January, fourth-quarter productivity and weekly jobless claims.
