MW: Stocks erase gains; leading economic indicators off 0.4%
U.S. stocks quickly lost their edge on Thursday, with financial shares pacing the declines, as data showed leading U.S. economic indicators fell 0.4% in February. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 39.59 points at 7,446.99. The S&P 500 Index fell 4.06 points to 790.29. The Nasdaq Composite fell 3.97 points to 1,487.25.
