MW: Oil rises, boosted by Treasury help plan for banks
Oil futures rose early Monday, as details of the Treasury's plan to help rid banks of toxic assets spurred optimism about a swift economic recovery. Crude oil for May delivery rose 52 cents to $52.59 a barrel in electronic trading on Globex. Last week, oil prices rallied 10%.
