MW: U.S. stock futures trim advance after economic data
U.S. stock futures lightly scaled back on early gains on Thursday after jobless claims jumped to a new record and fourth-quarter gross domestic product revision proved better than expected. Up about 85 points ahead of the reports, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were up 75 points at 7,755,00. Those for the S&P 500 were ahead 7.2 points at 815.3, while Nasdaq 100 futures gained 16 points to 1,249.5.
