Crude oil prices eased to $50.35 a barrel Tuesday on the New York Mercantile Exchange as economic worries continue to erode confidence in demand.
Crude oil prices dropped 70 cents overnight to $50.35 per barrel. Heating oil prices fell 0.0021 cents to $1.417 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline fell 0.0123 cents to $1.4632 per gallon. Natural gas prices slid 0.059 cents to $3.673 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.04 Tuesday, up from Monday's $2.039 a gallon,
