Oil futures rallied above $52 a barrel Thursday, accelerating their earlier gains, as U.S. stock futures pointed to a solidly higher opening on Wall Street. Crude oil for May delivery rose $2.83, or 5.7%, to $52.18 a barrel on Globex.
