Industrial production across the euro zone saw a monthly decline of 2.3% in February, the statistics agency Eurostat reported Thursday. Compared to February 2008, production fell 18.4%, the largest annual drop since records began in 1990. Economists had forecast a 2.3% monthly drop and a 17.5% year-on-year decline.
