Silver futures firmed up by 0.35 per cent on Wednesday on sustained buying by traders and speculators.
Silver for the July-month contract rose by 0.35 per cent to Rs 20,448 per kg, in a trading volume of 62 lots, while the May contract climbed 0.27 per cent to Rs 20,225 per kg clocking 908 lots on the Multi Commodity Exchange,
Buying activity maintained momentum as the metal in the overseas markets gained substantial ground, marketmen said.
