Taiwan stocks extended losses to fall 2.13 percent on Monday, as investors were concerned about the threat of swine flu and ignored a landmark financial services deal that China and Taiwan signed over the weekend. By 0245 GMT, the main TAIEX share index had fallen 125.20 points to 5,755.57, erasing gains earlier in the session. The financial sub-index fell 3.53 percent, with Cathay Financial, Taiwan's top listed financial holding firm, down 3.69 percent.
