PTI: Smart rise in metal prices on higher LME advices
 
Prices of nickel, copper and brass rose smartly on the non-ferrous metal market here today on the back of good industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME).

Nickel shot up by Rs 15 per kilo to Rs 700 from last Saturday&aposs closing level of Rs 685 and copper wire bar by Rs 8 per kilo to Rs 311 from Rs 303 previously.
Copper cable scrap and copper scrap heavy rose by Rs 5 per kilo each to Rs 280 and Rs 277 respectively.
Copper armiture and copper utensils scrap firmed up by Rs 4 per kilo each Rs 274 and Rs 256 respectively.
Brass utensils scrap and brass sheets cutting also moved up by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 206 and Rs 210 respectively.
