BLBG: Dollar Rises Against Yen on Bernanke, U.S. Services Report
The dollar rose against the yen as Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke said the economic contraction is easing and a report showed U.S. services industries contracted at a slower pace.
The U.S. currency advanced 0.1 percent to 98.94 yen at 10:08 a.m. in New York, from 98.80 yesterday.
