Crude oil futures moved higher Friday amid hopes that the global economy may be starting to improve. Light crude for June delivery rose $1.16 to $57.87 a barrel. The move came after the crude contract closed at $56.71 on Thursday -- the highest closing level for a front-month contract since Nov. 14.
