AP: Metal prices rule firm on higher global advices
Metal prices ruled firm on the non- ferrous metal market here today on good industrial demand coupled with higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME).
Nickel shot up by Rs 19 per kilo to Rs 694 from previous closing level of Rs 675.
Brass sheets cutting rose by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 201, copper utensils scrap by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 251, lead by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 90 and brass utensils scrap by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 198.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper wire bar, copper sheets cutting, zinc and tin also edged up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 267, Rs 264, Rs 262, Rs 295, Rs 259, Rs 95 and Rs 738 respectively.
However, aluminium utensils eased by a rupee per kilo to Rs 80 from 81 previously.
