MW: Crude falls on OPEC, stronger dollar

Crude-oil futures fell Tuesday on expectations that OPEC will not cut its production quota in Thursday's meeting and as the U.S. dollar rose against the euro, putting downward pressure on dollar-denominated oil prices. Crude for July delivery was last down 98 cents, or 1.6%, at $60.69 a barrel in early North American electronic trading. Analysts expect the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries to hold their production steady at the meeting in Vienna. In currencies, the dollar rose against the euro, getting a lift from flight-to-quality flows following North Korea's nuclear test Monday.
