AFP: Base metals rebounds on firm global cues
 
New Delhi, May 29 The wholesale prices of copper and other base metals today recovered up to Rs 3 per kg in the national capital on fresh buying by stockists influenced by firming global trend.

Market analysts said apart from better global trend fresh buying by stockists following pick up in demand from consuming industries also attributed rise in base metal prices.
In the national capital, copper wire scrap, copper super D rod , copper wire bar and copper mixed scrap traded higher by Rs 2 each to Rs 269, Rs 291, Rs 292 and Rs 247 per kg respectively.
Zinc ingot, lead ingot and lead imported were gained Rs one each at Rs 92, Rs 87 and Rs 102 per kg respectively while nickel(4x4) moved up by Rs 3 to Rs 680-840 per kg.

Tin ingot 710, zinc ingot 92.00, nickel plate (4x4) 680-840, gun metal scrap 225 bell metal scrap 230, copper wire scrap 269.00, copper super D rod 291.00, copper wire bar 292, copper mixed scrap 247.00, Utensil scrap 219, Chadripital 170.
Lead ingot 87, lead imported 102, aluminium ingots 104, sheet cutting 100, aluminium wire scrap 100 and aluminium utensils scrap 90.
