AFP: Select metals remain firm on sustain demand
 

Mumbai , Jun 3 Nickel, copper and tin prices remained firm on the non-ferrous metal market here today due to good industrial demand.

Brass and zinc moved down in the absence of industrial buying support.
Nickel rose by Rs 7 per kilo to Rs 740 from previous closing level of Rs 733. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper wire bar and tin moved up by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 275, Rs 272, Rs 303 and Rs 785 respectively.
Copper armiture, copper utensils scrap and copper sheets cutting also ended slightly higher by a rupee per kilo to Rs 269, Rs 255 and Rs 266 respectively.
However, brass utensils scrap, brass sheets cutting and zinc eased by a rupee per kilo to Rs 204, Rs 207 and Rs 92 respectively.
