Mumbai , Jun 5 Prices of tin, nickel, copper, zinc and lead firmed up in a mixed non-ferrous metal market here today due to fresh demand from industrial users coupled with higher London Metal Exchange (LME) advices.
While, brass eased owing to lack of industrial support.
Tin shot up by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 788, nickel by Rs 6 per kilo to Rs 731 and copper wire bar by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 302.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper armiture firmed up by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 274, Rs 271 and Rs 268 respectively.
Copper sheets cutting moved up by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 264.
Copper utensils scrap, zinc and lead also ended slightly higher by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 253, Rs 93 and Rs 89 respectively.
However, brass utensils scrap and brass sheets cutting eased by a rupee per kilo to Rs 199 and Rs 203 respectively.
