NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Oil futures rose nearly 2% early Tuesday, supported by weakness in the U.S. dollar. Crude oil for July delivery gained $1.20, or 1.8%, to $69.30 a barrel in electronic trading on Globex. The U.S. Energy Information Administration will release its short-term energy outlook later today. The International Energy Agency and the OPEC oil cartel will release similar reports later this week. Traders are also awaiting an update on U.S. petroleum inventories.
