NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures extended their losses Monday after data showed that the U.S. June Empire State index fell to -9.4. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 93 points, or 1.06%, to 8,697, while those for the S&P 500 index dropped 10.90 points, or 1.1%, to 929.70. Nasdaq 100 futures fell 13.75 points, or 0.9%, to 1,471.
