MW: U.S. stock futures trim decline after CPI report
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures scaled back earlier losses on Wednesday after the government reported U.S. consumer prices increased 0.1% in May. Down 23 points ahead of the data, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were down 22 points points at 8,436.00 in the report's wake. Futures for the S&P 500 fell 2.10 points to 905.70. Those for the Nasdaq 100 were up 2.25 points at 1,446.50.
