Crude oil prices dropped 44 cents to $68.80 per barrel. Heating oil prices lost 0.013 cents to $2.756 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline dropped 0.034 cents to $1.8592 per gallon. Natural gas prices lost 0.091 cents to $3.788 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.676 Wednesday, down from Tuesday's $2.683 a gallon, AAA said.
