RTTN: Gold Little Changed As Dollar Pared Losses

(RTTNews) - The price of gold was almost flat Thursday morning as the U.S. dollar recovered from its yesterday's weaknesses against a basket of currencies.

Gold for April delivery edged up $2.0 to $1,126.20 an ounce, after rallying over 2% so far this week

Meanwhile, the greenback was ticking higher versus the British pound and the euro. The euro slipped from its multi-week high against the U.S. dollar as the lack of clarity about the Greece's future weighed on sentiment.

Elsewhere, the price of platinum eased from its two-month high on Wednesday and silver was trading almost flat in morning deals.

Today, traders will look forward to consumer price index and weekly jobless data from the U.S. to get clues on the strength in the recovery of the economy.
