SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude oil headed lower Tuesday as a firmer dollar again worked against commodities. Oil for May delivery, the most actively traded contract, was off 34 cents, or 0.4%, at $81.26 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Other commodities such as gold were also under pressure Tuesday.
