U.S. stocks shed bulk of gains after housing data
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) - U.S. stocks wobbled mostly lower Tuesday after data showing existing home sales fell 0.6% in February. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU 10,810, +24.26, +0.23%) was up 21.09 points at 10,807.81. The S&P 500 Index (SPX 1,166, +0.35, +0.03%) was off half a point at 1,165.54. The Nasdaq Composite Index (COMP 2,396, +0.23, +0.01%) fell 1.06 points to 2,394.34. |
