RTTN: Pound Drifts Higher Amid Of Bank Of England Interest Rate Decision
(RTTNews) - The Bank of England announced its interest rate decision at 7:00 am ET Thursday. As predicted by analysts, the BoE kept its interest rate unchanged at a record low of 0.5%. Amid the announcement, the pound drifted higher against other major currencies.
Presently, the pound is trading at 0.8748 against the euro, 1.6385 against the franc, 1.5228 against the dollar and 141.51 against the yen.
