New Delhi, Apr 14 (PTI) Gold prices softened marginally by Rs 35 to Rs 17,025 per ten grams in restricted trading in the bullion market here today on sluggish demand.
Trading was lack-lustre also because the market was partly closed on account of 'Ambedkar Jayanti.'
Standard gold and ornaments declined further by Rs 35 each to Rs 17,025 and Rs 16,875 per ten grams, respectively.
However, sovereign gained Rs 25 to Rs 14,050 per eight-gram piece in limited deals.
On the other hand, silver ready recovered by Rs 100 to Rs 28,000 per kg and weekly-based delivery by Rs 80 to Rs 27,690 per kg.
Silver coins too traded higher by Rs 100 to Rs 33,600 for buying and Rs 33,700 for selling of 100 pieces.
