MUMBAI: Gold prices rose modestly by Rs 20 per 10 grams to Rs 16,800 on the bullion market here today due to fresh buying amid positive global cues.
Pure gold (99.9 purity) also looked up by Rs 15 per 10 grams to finish at Rs 16,885. Meanwhile, silver ready (.999 fineness) rose by Rs 175 per kg to settle at Rs 28,415. In London, gold prices rose on euro strength sending positive cues to the domestic market.
