NEW DELHI: Silver prices fell by Rs 107 to Rs 27,133 per kg in futures market on Tuesday as traders off loaded their holdings on the back of weakening global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for July contract fell by Rs 107, or 0.39 per cent to Rs 27,133 per kg with an open interest of 3,058 lots.
The metal for delivery in May contract also lost Rs 96, or 0.35 per cent to Rs 26,949 per kg in 14,504 lots.
Fresh fall in silver futures was mostly attributed to weakening global trend, traders said. Meanwhile, silver shed 45 cent to 17.62 dollar an ounce in Asian region. - PTI
