RTRS: Dollar hits new 2-week high vs yen on housing data
NEW YORK, April 23 (Reuters) - The dollar rose to fresh two-week highs against the yen on Friday after U.S. data showed new home sales surged 26.9 percent in March in further evidence a recovery in the world's largest economy is on track.
The dollar rose as high 94.32 against the yen JPY=, the highest since April 6, according to Reuters data. It was last at 94.25, up 0.9 percent on the day.
The euro EUR= trimmed gains versus the dollar to $1.3299 from $1.3314 before the data.
