RTTN: Canadian Dollar Declines Further Against Majors
(RTTNews) - The Canadian currency ticked down further against major opponents during New York mid-day trading on Tuesday.
Extending previous session downtrend, the loonie declined further against the US dollar, Japanese yen and the Australian dollar in New York morning deals today. At present, the loonie is trading near 1.0150 against the greenback, 0.9337 versus the Aussie and 91.79 against the yen and this set lowest levels for the loonie since April 20, 2010.
Against the euro, the loonie also traded lower in today's New York morning session and dropped to new multi-day low of 1.3476 by about 11:40 am ET. The pair closed yesterday's New York session at 1.3342.
