MW: Oil dips on uncertainty ahead of inventories data

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures seesawed Wednesday as volatility continued ahead of key inventories data later in the day and on a slight move ahead for the dollar. Crude for June delivery lost 21 cents, or 0.2%, to $82.24 a barrel on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Futures had opened lower but had changed direction on talks that a rescue plan for Greece was imminent. Oil mixed in "light volume trade" as markets quiet ahead of the Fed meeting and the morning's Department of Energy supplies report, Tim Evans, an analyst with Citi Futures Perspective, said in a report Tuesday.
