TORONTO - The Toronto stock market reversed earlier losses to creep into positive territory near midday Wednesday as investors took heart from news that Germany could approve its contribution to a Greek bailout as early as this weekend.

EU says Greece won't restructure; says it's monitoring role of credit rating agencies
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The European Commission ruled out a Greek debt restructuring Wednesday and - with barely veiled annoyance - said it was "monitoring" credit rating agencies such as Standard & Poor's that downgraded Greek bonds to junk status.
