RTRS: Spot gold at 2010 highs; euro, stg-priced at record
LONDON, May 3 (Reuters) - Spot gold and U.S. gold futures hit their highest since December 2009 on Monday, with the metal keeping its safe-haven appeal intact, as a 110 billion-euro aid plan for Greece failed to curb concerns on euro zone debt.
By 1116 GMT, spot gold had hit $1,182.95 -- a fresh 2010 high, while U.S. COMEX June gold futures rose to $1,184.00 per ounce, last seen in December 2009. Gold priced in sterling and euros hit record highs .
