MW: Oil, gold pare gains after April ISM factory index

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Oil and gold futures modestly trimmed their gains following news that April's ISM factory index came above consensus, rising to 60.4% compared to 59.6% in March. Crude-oil for June delivery added 18 cents to $86.35 a barrel on Comex, while gold for the same month rose $6.80 to $1,187.50 an ounce also on Comex.
