BS: Copper hits two-month low on China demand worry
NEW YORK - Copper plunged to a two-month low below $US3.30 per lb in New York futures trade, under pressure from a firmer dollar and demand deterioration fears reflected in further efforts to cool the Chinese economy.
Copper for July delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange's COMEX division sank 6.80 cents, or two per cent, to $US3.2855 per lb by 0115 AEST.
