In the past week gold has made a new all-time high, had a sniff at $1250 and slid back below the previous high. So where next?
It’s no surprise, and no immediate cause for concern, that after last week’s $50 rise, to a new high of $1249, the price has had a bit of a setback. The previous high was probably a bit too close to be expected to offer reasonable support so soon.
