MT: LME base metals fall back in officials
 
Base metals fell back towards their opening prices in Monday’s official session on the London Metal Exchange, after prices pushed higher in early trading. LME metals all rose in early trading on a jump on equity markets and a weaker dollar. “Today’s strong recovery on the stock market gave good support for metals futures to move up,” a trader in Shanghai said. But prices fell back by the officials as the euro gave up ground on the dollar.
