BLBG: U.S. Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index Rose to 73.6 in May

May 28 (Bloomberg) -- The Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan final May consumer sentiment index increased to 73.6 from 72.2 in April.
The gauge, initially reported at 73.3, was projected to rise to 73.3 from the previous month, according to the median forecast in a Bloomberg News survey of 64 economists.
