MW: Nat gas futures trim gains following EIA report

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures trimmed gains Thursday after a report showed a larger-than-expected increase in the nation's stockpiles. Natural gas for July delivery rose 2 cents, or 0.4%, to $4.70 per million British thermal units. The Energy Information Administration reported Thursday 99 billion cubic feet in natural gas in storage. Analysts polled by Platts had predicted an increase between 91 and 95 billion cubic feet.
