RTTN: Indian Rupee Eases From 1-month High Against US Dollar
(RTTNews) - The Indian rupee pulled back from a 1-month high of 45.85 against the US dollar in late Asian deals Friday as regional shares shed some of their earlier gains.
The benchmark 30-share Sensex is currently trading firm, but off the day's high at 17,672, up 56 points or 0.32% and the 50-share Nifty is rising by 13 points or 0.25% to 5,288.
The rupee is presently quoted at 46.14 against the greenback, up from 46.2250 hit late New York Thursday. If the rupee rises further, 45.50 is seen as the next likely target level.
