WSJ: WORLD FOREX: Tumbling Dollar Helps Euro, Yen, Pound Higher
LONDON (Dow Jones)--Fears of further monetary easing in the U.S. combined with indications that Japan might not want to intervene sent the dollar reeling Tuesday.
The euro rallied through $1.32, taking it to a new three-month high, while the dollar sank under Y86 for the first time since November last year.
The pound was also boosted, helping the U.K. currency to flirt with $1.60, a level it last attained in February.
