[BRIEFING.COM] Oil contracts continue to attract support, such that the price of a barrel of crude currently stands at $81.75, up 0.5%. Earlier this morning oil prices actually came close to $82.50 per barrel, a near three-month high.
Natural gas prices have attempted to rally back from their 4% loss in the prior session. The commodity is currently up 2.3% to $4.81 per MMBtu.
Trade is quiet among precious metals. Gold prices are up 0.3% to $1186.40 per ounce, while silver is up just 0.1% to $18.45 per ounce.
