(RTTNews) - The Japanese yen edged higher across the board on Tuesday morning in New York. As of now, the yen is trading at multi-day highs of 82.54 against the Swiss franc, 78.01 against the Australian dollar and 83.65 against the Canadian dollar.
Recouping most of its previous session's losses, the yen also reached as high as 136.52 against the pound, 113.17 against the euro and 62.79 against the NZ dollar around 10:10 am ET.
Against the US dollar, the yen is currently trading at 85.80, a few pips away from a fresh multi-month high hit earlier in the session.
