WSJ: OIL FUTURES: Crude Slides To One-Week Low On Weak Jobs Report
NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Crude oil futures Friday fell for a third consecutive day as weakness in the U.S. job market hit expectations for energy demand.
Light, sweet crude for September delivery settled down $1.31, or 1.6%, at $80.70 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, the lowest settlement price since July 30. Brent crude on the ICE futures exchange ended down $1.45, or 1.8%, at $80.16 a barrel.
