MW: U.S. stock futures point to sharply lower open

FRANKFURT (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures pointed to a sharply lower opening on Wall Street on Wednesday, as concerns over Chinese and U.S. economic growth took center stage. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 103 points to 10,515 and S&P 500 futures fell 13 points to 1,106.70. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 22.75 points to 1,873.70. European equities also posted broad-based losses in morning trading.
