RTRS: Euro extends declines versus dollar, falls 2 pct
Aug 11 (Reuters) - The euro extended losses against the dollar on Wednesday, falling 2 percent on the session, as worries about the global economy and steep losses in stocks spurred safe-haven demand for the greenback.
The euro hit as low as $1.2903 EUR=EBS, according to electronic trading platform EBS. It was last at $1.2904, down 2.1 percent.
The euro also fell 2.4 percent to 109.89 yen EURJPY=. (Editing by James Dalgleish)
